Paddling the North -Day 2

Some pictures from day two. It was more windy this day and seeing the wave size on my way over the fjord I have to admit I was a little worried how it would be on the way back. Despite the calmness of the wind in the side fjord, from there I could see the white tips of the waves in the open fjord and the wind was not decreasing.

On my way back the wind and the waves came in the fjord instead of going out like the day before. Either direction didn't actually make a difference to me as I was crossing straight over. Both directions meant side wind and because of the strength of the wind this day I had to go zig zag. It worked fine, but of course it's more work.

A jellyfish in the little inlet where I started. Used to see loads
of these in my childhood. Their Norwegian name translated
would be "glass jellyfish"

Lunch break. Going deeper into the side fjord on the other side

Heading back again. Fighting the waves
